Alternatives to Alt Text

Alternative text (alt text) is an important tool to create equitable experiences for students. DELTA’s Accessibility Team shares best practices for creating alt text along with other tips to help with student engagement and success.

Closed Captioning: Not Just a Tool, a Legal Requirement

Save time while helping students succeed in your course by planning closed captioning for your class videos in advance. If one student is registered with the Disability Resource Office, an accuracy rate of 98% is mandated for closed captions. It’s not just a great idea, it’s the law!
