Incoming Students Have an Opportunity to Think and Do During Winter Break

NC State’s free two credit-hour course, Wicked Problems Wolfpack Solutions, is being offered over winter break from December 13, 2021 to January 7, 2022! Incoming first year and transfer students will have the opportunity to learn from a variety of NC State faculty from an array of disciplines about the implications of global climate change.

VCS: Taking Care of Business and Colleagues

Instead of abandoning ship when COVID-19 hit the NC State campus, the DELTA Video Communication Services (VCS) professionals were in the all hands on deck mode of operation. Read more about how systems that were already in place helped them to weather the storm.

FM 425 Works with DELTA to Create 3D Model Apps of Feed Mills

FM 425: Feed Manufacturing Technology’s Area Specialized Agent Marissa Herchler Cohen and Associate Professor Adam Fahrenholz worked with a DELTA team to convert labs into web-based 3D apps allowing students to see inside the feed mills.

DELTA has been leading NC State’s transition from Mediasite to Panopto as the university’s main video management tool since May 2021. DELTA now needs the help of faculty to make the final transition to Panopto, giving students access to video content.

Summer Shorts Supports Faculty Exploring Instructional Technologies

The 2021 DELTA Summer Shorts brought local instructors together to share best practices for teaching with technology. Participating in online and in-person workshops, faculty were able to learn tips and tricks for teaching in-person, online, and hybrid courses, especially during a pandemic.

A Metamorphosis: DELTA Grant Transforms ENT 410
