Token Takeaways from the East Coast Game Conference

In its 11th year, the East Coast Game Conference brought together industry professionals to network and share growing trends and new technologies. DELTA staff shared some of their key takeaways and tokens of advice from the conference.

Since the completion of DELTA Exploratory Grant work in 2016, Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture Kofi Boone has successfully incorporated virtual reality/augmented reality (VR/AR) technology into his landscape architecture courses.

Creative Director Mike Cuales Receives NC State University Award for Excellence

Creative Director of DELTA’s New Media Development Mike Cuales was honored with the NC State University Awards for Excellence at the recognition ceremony June 7 at Talley Student Union. The award is the most prestigious honor bestowed upon non-faculty employees.

A Work in Progress: Virtual Field Trips for BIO 181

A team of DELTA staff and Biology faculty Miriam Ferzli, Lisa Paciulli and Betty Black are working to immerse students in field-based experiences where they find and observe organisms in their natural habitats as part of Introductory Biology: Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity (BIO 181).

Creative Director Mike Cuales Selected for 2017 Provost’s Award of Excellence

Mike Cuales, Creative Director, New Media Development, was nominated as DELTA's EHRA Award of Excellence recipient. Cuales, along with recipients from other units reporting to the Provost, were recognized in a ceremony held in Talley Student Union on Monday, April 24.

Inside DELTA: 5 Questions with Arthur Earnest

A new monthly feature will unveil the life of DELTA staff in their day-to-day work routines and their interests outside of the workplace. This month's feature is Arthur Earnest, a video producer who began at DELTA in 2008, an NC State alumnus who graduated with a degree in sociology and a minor in film studies.
