Student Services Block Available in Moodle

DELTA is excited to announce the release of a Student Services block in Moodle. In support of student success, we encourage you to add this block to all of your Moodle courses. The block provides links to student resources and services that are specific to NC State’s online and distance education students.

NC State Shares Immersive Learning Across the Country

NC State’s exploration and implementation of immersive learning technologies and spaces were shared across the country with a recent invitation to visit San Diego State University. Mike Cuales and David Woodbury presented on tech lending and immersive technology projects.

Friday Live Webinar Series: Discussions on Teaching with Tech(Archive)

Join us for Friday Live, DELTA’s webinar series focused on teaching with technology. All discussions are led by NC State faculty and delivered online in Zoom from 12-1 p.m. With a different topic each week, you’ll have an opportunity to add new resources to your teaching with technology toolkit and share a few of your own tips and tricks with other instructors.

New Cohort of Faculty Dedicated to Online Course Improvement

A new Online Course Improvement Program (OCIP) faculty cohort will work to make improvements to their online courses to meet the nationally recognized standards of the Quality Matters organization. In its fourth cohort, OCIP is a testament to NC State’s commitment to providing quality teaching and learning.

Class Piano Goes Digital

Through a DELTA Grant, a team of staff members partnered with Associate Teaching Professor Olga Kleiankina from the Department of Music to transform MUS 107: Class Piano I by creating an interactive web book to replace the standard method book.
