New Closed Captioning Convenience Contract Here’s some good news. As of September 1, a new closed captioning contract has been negotiated and captioning prices have dropped. That’s right, the prices for closed captions under the convenience contract have actually gone down. Kudos to NC State Accessibility Coordinator Crystal Tenan for negotiating lower pricing for closed captions! …

New Cohort of Faculty Dedicated to Online Course Improvement

A new Online Course Improvement Program (OCIP) faculty cohort will work to make improvements to their online courses to meet the nationally recognized standards of the Quality Matters organization. In its fourth cohort, OCIP is a testament to NC State’s commitment to providing quality teaching and learning.

DELTA, Libraries and NC State Stores Partner with OpenStax to Increase Use of Free, Peer-Reviewed Textbooks

NC State University has been chosen to participate in the 2019-2020 OpenStax Institutional Partnership Program to encourage the use of free, peer-reviewed textbooks on campus. The Libraries, DELTA, and the NC State Stores will be partnering in this program.
