Augmented Reality Brings New Life to Graphic Design Theory Textbook

Created through a DELTA Grant with College of Design Associate Professor Deb Littlejohn, the augmented reality app for GD 303 enhances the standard theory textbook with interactive activities such as quizzes and guided tours.

Central Control Room Overhauls Technology

DELTA’s Central Control Room (CCR) is where all the magic of recording distance education classes happens. This past summer, the CCR went through a complete overhaul of the classroom source monitoring system, essentially rebuilding the system from scratch using IP technology.

The Online Course Improvement Program (OCIP) and the Quality Matters Essentials Standards Program (QMESP) are two professional development opportunities for faculty to improve their online or blended courses based on Quality Matters standards. Apply by Nov. 8.

DELTA is excited to announce the release of a Student Services block in Moodle. In support of student success, we encourage you to add this block to all of your Moodle courses. The block provides links to student resources and services that are specific to NC State’s online and distance education students.

October 2019 Mediasite Administrator Update(Archive)

Mediasite Maintenance Fall Break October 10 and 11 Fall Break is Thursday, Oct. 10 and Friday, Oct. 11. There could be disruptions to Mediasite service at any time during this maintenance window.  There’s never a perfect time for system maintenance, but it must be done (Windows server updates, etc.) and we schedule them for times…
