Test your production workflow

The Mediasite testing environment is always available for you. The test server is on version 7.0.28. The latest recorder version is the 7.1.10 image and 7.1.11 software.

• Every Mediasite Instance is on the test server.
• You have access to your test Instance, 24/7.

• The URL is instancename-testing.online.ncsu.edu/online/manage
• If for some reason you can’t log in, or someone on your team can’t login, contact us at mediasite-help@ncsu.edu.

New Recorders will have 7.1.10 Image and 7.1.xx Software

If you receive a “refresh” recorder or purchase a new recorder this coming year, it will come with the 7.1.10 image and 7.1.xx software.

November Server Maintenance

The weekend of November 5-6, OIT is performing quarterly data center maintenance. Please see Sysnews post https://sysnews.ncsu.edu/news/580578bc for details and updates.

All campus services experience disruption from 6 a.m. Saturday, November 5 through 6 p.m. Sunday November 6. Mediasite viewer may experience login and presentation access problems. Live streams could be disrupted and content creators may be unable to publish presentations. It is impossible to know when these disruptions may occur and what their duration may be.

The next scheduled monthly Windows Updates for the Mediasite servers is Saturday, November 19 from 5 a.m. to 6 a.m.
