Download Elluminate recordings

If you would like to save your Elluminate recordings for future use, you need to download them using Elluminate Publish!, which is now supported by DELTA. Keep in mind these important dates:

  1. Elluminate Live! will only be available for live sessions until August 8. Beginning August 8, you must use Blackboard Collaborate for live sessions.
  2. You have until December 18 to download your Elluminate Live! recordings using Elluminate Publish!.

Who needs to download Elluminate recordings?
You will need to download your recordings if:

  • You want to keep using your recordings after Elluminate is no longer available.
  • You used Elluminate for for-credit course assessment purposes (DELTA recommends retaining all course grade-related records for 2 years).

How do I download my Elluminate recordings?
You will need to download and install Elluminate Publish! on your computer. Then you can use Elluminate Publish! to convert your Elluminate recordings to offline files. Full information about installing and using Elluminate Publish! can be found at https://delta.ncsu.edu/lms_services/synchronous_learning/publish.

How can others access my Elluminate recordings once they are downloaded?
Once your Elluminate recordings are downloaded, they are like any other movie file you have saved on your computer. You will need to find an appropriate online location to place them for viewers to access. Suggestions include Google Drive, iTunesU, or Velocity. Remember to be aware of FERPA concerns if you are sharing content that contains student data.
