Moodle Feature Allows Student Access Beyond Semester Dates

NC State instructors can now allow specific students to access their Moodle courses outside of the normal semester availability dates by requesting a special role for the student called "Extended Access." This role can be used to resolve incomplete grades.

A new Inside DELTA highlighting the life of DELTA staff in their day-to-day work routines and life outside of the workplace. Steve Bader is a PHP web developer and Moodle lead focusing on maintaining and improving open-source applications. Outside of work, his spare time is filled with family and hockey.

What’s New in Moodle 3.4?(Archive)

To stay updated with Moodle, check out the recent changes in version 3.4. DELTA is upgrading to the new version for courses starting Summer 2018. While most of the functionality is the same, there are a number of changes, new plugins added, and feature requests implemented in order to improve the user experience 

The Wolfpack Wellness Navigation Map features six locations around campus with Talley Student Union being the home for Wolfpack Wellness. The progress bar (right) shows personal progress toward reaching recommended wellness goals.

Wolfpack Wellness 101: Creating a Thriving Pack

DELTA teamed up with staff from NC State Dining and University Recreation to create the Wolfpack Wellness 101 module, an interactive resource for incoming students to learn about health and wellness. The project will add to NC State’s focus of student’s overall well-being.
