Registration Open for DELTA Spring Workshops(Archive)

DELTA workshops can help you transform your course by effectively integrating the various academic technologies available to you. All workshops are open to faculty, staff and graduate students. Starting in March, we'll host a weekly webinar focused on exploring topics related to teaching with technology.

EDUCAUSE Annual Conference 2018 Highlights

NC State University was well represented at the 2018 EDUCAUSE Annual Conference held Oct. 30 - Nov. 2, 2018, in Denver, Colorado. Eleven DELTA staff members attended the conference and shared back their key takeaways.

Takeaways from Engage 2018

The 2nd annual Engage conference was held in Chicago in late October 2018. Yiling Chappelow, Stacy Gant, Lou Harrison and David Howard attended the conference to learn more about the Top Hat platform, meet users and Top Hat executives, and hear about the future direction of the company and their software.

DELTA Welcomes New Class of Faculty Fellows

DELTA is excited to welcome four new Faculty Fellows for the 2018-2019 cycle. James McConnell, Justin Post, Melissa Ramirez and Stacy Supak will partner with DELTA to share teaching with technology best practices through a variety of activities. The four new Fellows will join Angie Smith who is continuing her grant through summer 2019.

Agile at DELTA: Communication is Key

For the second year, a team of DELTA staff attended the Agile2017 conference in Orlando, Florida, where they experienced a variety of sessions on the Agile philosophy, communication, collaboration, leadership and more. The group returned to DELTA and led a series of workshops for all staff to attend.

DELTA Adds Documentation Resources

Top Hat Gains Traction at NC State

It’s been one year since NC State acquired a campus license for Top Hat, allowing faculty and students to use it at no cost. We caught up with a few instructors to hear their stories of successfully implementing Top Hat and how the use of this interactive classroom tool is benefiting their teaching as well as student learning.
