This session of the Instructional Design Interest Group (IDIG) is hosted by the Poole College of Management and facilitated by Dr. Bill Rand, will be a crash course into the world of artificial intelligence — exploring its transformative potential in the workplace. In addition, we will unpack practical AI applications that can enhance productivity, decision-making and innovation in various roles. We’ll also tackle the ethical considerations surrounding AI, discussing issues such as bias, transparency and the impact on the workforce. Finally, we’ll explore essential AI tools and technologies that faculty and staff can leverage in their day-to-day activities. Whether you’re new to AI or looking to deepen your understanding, this session will equip you with the insights and skills needed to navigate the AI-driven future.
