DELTA Fall Workshops: Moodle Boot Camps and More!
Isn’t it a wonderful feeling to easily find what you are looking for? Everyone is more successful when course content is well organized and expectations are clear. The beginning of the semester is the perfect time to align your course content with your learning objectives and DELTA is here to help. Many workshop options are available in REPORTER and our popular Moodle Boot Camps are back!
In addition to our Moodle offerings, we continue to provide workshops in-person and online to foster mastery of NC State’s academic learning technologies such as Gradescope, IntelliBoard, Panopto, PlayPosit, Perusall, Yellowdig and WolfWareWordPress. There are also sessions on timely topics such as Chat GPT and Generative AI to keep you current on emerging technologies.
If you would like a way to show your commitment to continuing education, DELTA offers digital workshop badges that you can display to demonstrate your achievements through Credly. Many of the badges offer two possible levels of achievement — Exploring and Applying. If you successfully complete the requisite workshops in a topic of interest, you will earn an Exploring Badge. If you would like to pursue the Applying Badge, you must demonstrate your ability to apply your expertise in the topic area in one of the following ways:
- Write an article for DELTA news
- Teach a workshop or seminar on your implementation
- Add a case study to the Teaching Resources website
- Make an instructional video for the NC State DELTA LearnTech YouTube channel
- Come up with your own idea and pitch it to us! Please reach out to the DELTA training program to pre-approve your project idea.
Workshops offered by DELTA are free and available to faculty, staff and graduate teaching assistants. Many are presented in a combination of in-person and virtual formats for your convenience.
