The various DELTA workshops offered during this spring semester are now open for registration so you can learn about the newest tips and tricks regarding Perusall, IntelliBoard, and more.

Moodle: Boot Camp

Going Further with Moodle: Jan. 5, 2023, 9-3 p.m.
Whether you are new to Moodle, want to refresh or refine your knowledge and skills, or are looking for best practices for maintaining your Moodle course, these workshops are for you! Sessions range from “Getting Started with Moodle” to “Stealth Activities in Moodle” to help you fine tune your course content delivery!

Perusall: Social Annotation Tool
Perusall Implementation Jan. 10, 2023, 10-11 a.m.
If you are searching for a way to increase student engagement using texts, images, video, audio and websites, Perusall is the new tool for your new year! Join this workshop to learn about the basic features of Perusall, including demos of student and instructor uses, scenarios for using it in class, and a walkthrough of how to set it up and implement it within Moodle.
IntelliBoard: Learning Analytics Dashboard
Utilizing Data from IntelliBoard to Improve Student Success Jan. 20, 2023, 10-10:45 a.m.
Seeking to identify at-risk learners — even pinpointing where they hit roadblocks? IntelliBoard is a new analytics tool connected with Moodle that can provide you with greater insight into how your students are interacting with your course content. In this session, you can learn about the basic variety of IntelliBoard reports available and ways you can use them in your course.
Wired Wednesdays
Weekly beginning Feb. 1, 2023, 12:30-1:15 p.m.
This 45-minute series of sessions occur each Wednesday during the month of February. The focus changes weekly beginning with Universal Design for Learning (UDL), which is a framework that can help you make your course more inclusive, equitable, accessible and engaging. Other topics include adaptive or personalized learning, Moodle question bank organization, and applying cognitive load theory to multimedia. For specific dates, check REPORTER.
