Fall Workshops Block 2 Registration is Open(Archive)
Registration is open for DELTA’s Block 2 Fall Workshops.
All classes are free and open to faculty, staff and teaching graduate students.
In addition to our line up of Block 2: Strengthening Your teaching with Technology Skills classes, we are offering a few new topics.
Now that you know about Top Hat, would you like to see how to take this interactive tool to the advanced level? This training will serve as a refresher course for professors who have used or are using Top Hat. In addition, we will cover more advanced features, such as the Pages module, multimedia use, recent updates and enhancements, as well as our Content Marketplace — a tool for professors to browse, add and share Top Hat questions, presentations and interactive texts. Finally, we will provide an overview of the Moodle integration.
Ready to take the next step in designing an online course using Quality Matters? The Quality Matters (QM) rubric is a tool used to evaluate course design and its components, not the individual instructor. If you’d like to learn more about the Quality Matters organization and what tools and resources are available to you as a faculty member and UNC system subscriber, join us for
Designing Your Online Course with Quality Matters. Participants will be introduced to: the importance of alignment; the QM rubric and how to use its standards to help design high-quality online courses or improve existing online courses; and an informal course review process for individual faculty to conduct self-reviews of their online.
Interested in learning more about how you can use WolfWare WordPress for your course? Attend our WordPress Essentials workshop, where we’ll provide an overview of the tool and introduce users to basic navigation and editing functions for using WordPress for your course.
