Upcoming Seminar: “Legal Issues Impacting Online Instruction”
Whether you are teaching a fully-online course or supplementing a traditional course with online materials, you will find that there are questions about student privacy, and use of online tools, educational records, copyrighted materials and intellectual property.
Join us Tuesday, September 25th from 12-1 PM, in the D.H. Hill Library Assembly Room for the “Legal Issues Impacting Online Instruction: Questions and Answers about Copyright, FERPA and Other Laws that Impact Instructors” DELTA seminar. Experts from the NC State Office of General Counsel and the Libraries will be available to answer your questions, address your concerns and help you better understand these issues.
Register for this event. You will need to log in using your Unity ID and password. If this is your first time using the registration system, you will need to create a profile, as well.)
DELTA workshops and seminars are free to all NC State faculty, staff and graduate students. For a complete list of our Fall offerings visit delta.ncsu.edu/workshops.
Directions to the DH Hill Library Assembly Room are as follows:
Enter D. H. Hill Library from the brickyard. Go through the turnstile and turn right. On your left are stairs and elevators; take one to the 2nd floor. Once on the 2nd floor, turn to your left and follow the aisle (the bookstacks should be on your right). At the end of the aisle, continue to the left into the East Wing. Turn right at the second hallway. The Assembly Room is located halfway down the hallway, on your left.
We hope to see you there!
