Office of Faculty Development sponsors “Thank a teacher” program
Am passing this on from my colleagues in the Office of Faculty Development – love this idea!
In order to provide NC State students a way to express appreciation to faculty who have impacted their university experience in a positive way, the Office of Faculty Development (OFD) is implementing a “Thank a Teacher” Program. Through this program, students have an online opportunity to send thank you notes to faculty through a template developed by OFD.
Students will be directed to complete an online form to send their notes to their faculty. These student notes will be routed through OFD for review and inclusion in a formal letter signed by the Provost. OFD
will then send the letters to faculty and teaching assistants once grades are submitted.
