Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Institute Offered

Our colleagues in the Office of Faculty Development would like to announce their first Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Summer Institute. This institute will provide an opportunity for NC State faculty to work collaboratively with peers and develop research projects focusing on teaching and learning.

The SoTL Institute will meet for five days over the two week period from May 21-June 3, 2010. Participants who fulfill the requirements of the SoTL Summer Institute will receive up to $1,000 in funding to support completion of their research project. Participants will also be encouraged to develop projects that will produce scholarly publications or presentations.
