DELTA VR Tours Complement College of Design’s 75th Anniversary Celebration

DELTA and the College of Design teamed up to create virtual tours of the entire building to showcase the current facilities and projects students are working on this year. These tours are being used to engage with alumni as part of the yearlong 75th anniversary celebration as well as for recruitment and admissions promotions.

For the last 14 years, Senior Instructional Designer Cathi Dunnagan (née Phillips) has worked at DELTA and on July 1, 2022, she’s retiring. Since 2008, Dunnagan has worked with faculty and fellow DELTA staff to solve instructional challenges using technology.  Project highlights for Dunnagan include Wicked Problems, Wolfpack Solutions for summers 2020, 2021 and 2022…

Experimenting in the Lab Sandbox

Lab courses provide meaningful hands-on experiences for students, and these experiences can be difficult to replicate in an online environment. A team of DELTA staff and NC State faculty set out to design an immersive, configurable online lab for students in BIT 410/510.

DELTA Grant Nutrition Faculty Receive Gertrude Cox Award

Former DELTA Grant Recipients Suzie Goodell and Natalie Cooke were awarded the Gertrude Cox Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching and Learning with Technology. This award was created to honor the creative pedagogy of NC State’s faculty and their work in integrating new technologies into effective teaching strategies.
