Brandon Joyner is a technology support technician for Video Communication Services and is devoted to capturing high-quality lecture materials for online and distance education students.

Lou Harrison Receives NC State University Award for Excellence

Lou Harrison receives the NC State University Award for Excellence in the Efficiency and Innovation category. He and three other nominees from DELTA were celebrated at an awards ceremony on June 11, 2019.

Tamara Watts is an Online and Distance Education Administrative Associate and focuses on enrollment, maintaining administration and collaborating with other departments on special projects. Watts enjoys event planning and spending time with her family.

Steve Bader is a PHP web developer and Moodle lead focusing on maintaining and improving open-source applications. Outside of work, his spare time is filled with family and hockey.

Takeaways from Engage 2018

The 2nd annual Engage conference was held in Chicago in late October 2018. Yiling Chappelow, Stacy Gant, Lou Harrison and David Howard attended the conference to learn more about the Top Hat platform, meet users and Top Hat executives, and hear about the future direction of the company and their software.

2017-2018 DELTA Annual Report Available Online

This year has been another year of discovery for DELTA in leveraging its unique strengths and reimagining education at NC State. Through innovative course design, teaching with technology workshops and the support of enterprise-level technologies, DELTA's goal is to improve the user experience for both students and faculty.
