Meet the First Recipients of the Laura Stephenson Video in Education Scholarship

Two Duquesne University students, Jacob Leya and David Rajaski, are the first to be awarded the Laura Stephenson Video in Education Scholarship. The scholarship was renamed to honor Stephenson, a longtime NC State employee and Mediasite advocate, who passed in October 2016.

2017 Pride of the Wolfpack Award Recipients

The Pride of the Wolfpack Award recognizes staff members who go above and beyond and make a special or unique contribution to their unit or university as a whole. Seven DELTA staff members were honored with the award with a framed certificate at the staff meeting September 22, 2017.

Tobey Completes Performance Leadership Program

Lead Instructional Designer Bethanne Tobey completed the Performance Leadership Program in June 2017 and since then has been working to implement the things she learned into her day-to-day work. Learning about interpersonal communication and leading change in organizations were beneficial topics for Tobey.

Rich Gurnsey’s Design Selected for Art-On-The-Move

DELTA multimedia specialist Rich Gurnsey had his bus designs selected for the third time as part of the Art-On-The-Move contest. His artwork has been featured in 2013, 2015 and 2017.

Creative Director Mike Cuales Receives NC State University Award for Excellence

Creative Director of DELTA’s New Media Development Mike Cuales was honored with the NC State University Awards for Excellence at the recognition ceremony June 7 at Talley Student Union. The award is the most prestigious honor bestowed upon non-faculty employees.

On June 1, 2017, five DELTA staff members graduated from the Pathways Leadership Development Program. Steve Bader, Breanna Collins, Shawn Colvin, Cathi Phillips Dunnagan and Arthur Earnest completed the program focused on professional and self-development.

Robinson Recognized as Finalist for Enterprise Video Awards

DELTA’s Mobile Media Producer Jeff Robinson was recently recognized as a finalist in the 2017 Enterprise Video Awards hosted by the Sonic Foundry Mediasite Conference titled Unleash17. Robinson worked with Mediasite Video Platform to show three different views of the interferometer used in labs at NC State.

Lee Ivy and DELTA Team Win 2017 Gertrude Cox Award

DELTA congratulates Lee Ivy as a recipient of the 2017 Gertrude Cox Award for Innovative Excellence in Teaching and Learning with Technology. Nominated for his exemplary course, HS200, Home Horticulture, Ivy accepted the award on Monday, April 3.
