Distance Education and Learning Technology Applications (DELTA) at NC State strengthens the university’s academic offerings by fully utilizing technology to serve all learners. This unit equips students for an increasingly interconnected, global society with outstanding educational experiences formed with innovative technologies and pedagogies.
A new monthly feature will unveil the life of DELTA staff in their day-to-day work routines and their interests outside of the workplace. The first feature highlights Laura Chen, a database administrator at DELTA since 2005.

While overseas in the Republic of Georgia, Professor and Associate Head in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Greg Byrd used My Mediasite to record lectures and easily upload them for his students to see while in his hotel room many miles away from campus.

VCS Infrastructure Coordinator Bob Klein gave an excellent presentation on his work, as he was a finalist for the NCREN Community Choice Award. Bob was one of only three finalists, out of nominees from all across the state.
