Provost Warwick Arden Visits DELTA

On April 19, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Warwick Arden visited DELTA to give staff members an opportunity to discuss relevant projects and provide an overview of DELTA’s many services. The provost toured the Centennial Campus Testing Center and the Center for Technology and Innovation.

A Work in Progress: Virtual Field Trips for BIO 181

A team of DELTA staff and Biology faculty Miriam Ferzli, Lisa Paciulli and Betty Black are working to immerse students in field-based experiences where they find and observe organisms in their natural habitats as part of Introductory Biology: Ecology, Evolution and Biodiversity (BIO 181).

What’s New in Moodle 3.2?

Recently, DELTA performed the annual upgrade of Moodle, to Moodle 3.2, for courses starting Summer of 2017 and beyond. While most of the functionality is the same, there have been a number of changes to the interface that were designed to reduce clutter and improve the user experience.

Creative Director Mike Cuales Selected for 2017 Provost’s Award of Excellence

Mike Cuales, Creative Director, New Media Development, was nominated as DELTA's EHRA Award of Excellence recipient. Cuales, along with recipients from other units reporting to the Provost, were recognized in a ceremony held in Talley Student Union on Monday, April 24.

A new Inside DELTA highlighting the life of DELTA staff in their day-to-day work routines and life outside of the workplace. Brad Collins works as a Testing Coordinator for his alma mater but outside of work, Collins enjoys playing basketball with the same group of friends from his days as a student.
