DELTA Adds Tim Petty, Looks Ahead

DELTA's Lou Harrison, David Howard, Donna Petherbridge and Peter Watson attended the EDUCAUSE 2017 Annual Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, October 31 - November 3, 2017. They shared highlights from sessions, keynote speakers and other interactions.

One of DELTA’s own heads up the Staff Senate as chair. Cathi Dunnagan, who has served as a staff senator before, was elected as chair for the 2017-2018 session. Dunnagan is dedicated to inspiring and developing strong and engaged leaders through Staff Senate.

Registration is open for DELTA’s Block 3 Fall Workshops. All classes are free and open to faculty, staff and teaching graduate students. Workshops include new and familiar topics to help you wrap up the current semester, and assist with your Spring 2018 course preparation.

Online and Distance Education Focuses on Quality, Student Success

With 95 programs and just under 20,000 students, NC State’s Online and Distance Education unit is continuing to grow and expand. Since its beginning under the leadership of Associate Vice Provost Rebecca Swanson, the unit has grown its services and offerings with a continued focus on quality and student success.

Meet the First Recipients of the Laura Stephenson Video in Education Scholarship

Two Duquesne University students, Jacob Leya and David Rajaski, are the first to be awarded the Laura Stephenson Video in Education Scholarship. The scholarship was renamed to honor Stephenson, a longtime NC State employee and Mediasite advocate, who passed in October 2016.

2017 Pride of the Wolfpack Award Recipients

The Pride of the Wolfpack Award recognizes staff members who go above and beyond and make a special or unique contribution to their unit or university as a whole. Seven DELTA staff members were honored with the award with a framed certificate at the staff meeting September 22, 2017.
