The popular tool Flip (formerly Flipgrid) is now exclusively part of Microsoft Teams. The tool was used for student creation and discussion of short videos like classroom introductions.
If you are a Flip user and would like to save your videos from Flip, you can download them and import them into Padlet before September 30th, 2024.
Padlet is a “freemium” online board that allows users to collaborate on and post a variety of content, including text images, videos, links, and other multimedia elements. Padlet also has a new digital whiteboard tool called “Sandbox.” You can link your Google account to Padlet and import any Jamboards that you’d like to save or continue using.
Google Jamboard will discontinue on October 1, 2024.
