Congrats to Faculty for Commitment to Online Course Quality
While the NC State community is facing unprecedented challenges and subsequent changes, NC State faculty have continued their dedication to course improvement. The faculty mentioned below have worked hard to complete Quality Matters (QM) training and raise the bar for online education at NC State. These workshops and programs are facilitated by the Course Quality Program at NC State.
The following faculty completed the QM two-week online workshop, Improving Your Online Course. The workshop focuses on developing a course improvement plan based on the QM Rubric.

Professor Eileen Taylor has recently become the first faculty member at NC State to complete and earn QM Essentials Recognition for her course, MBA 510: Critical Thinking for Managers. Taylor applied the essential standards of the QM Higher Education Rubric to her course and then the course was peer-reviewed and validated by a set of certified Peer Reviewer faculty at NC State. Congratulations!
Congratulations are also in order for three faculty members who have recently earned QM course certification — proving their commitment to online course quality. Melissa Hendrickson and Jamie Larsen completed the Online Course Improvement Program offered by DELTA and submitted their courses for official QM review. These three courses bring the NC State total number of QM-certified courses to 19.
