DELTA Grants Group Consultation Sign-Ups are Available
It is almost that time of year again! DELTA is seeking collaborative partners from diverse disciplines across campus to submit grant proposals for the 2018–2019 DELTA Grants cycle. Partners will work with DELTA staff to provide innovative solutions for educational challenges.
DELTA Grants is a competitive awards program for NC State faculty and staff. Award recipients whose projects are accepted for funding receive DELTA personnel support for the planning, design and development of online and distance education courses, blended learning, traditional courses, projects or faculty peer outreach assistance.
For faculty and staff who are considering submitting a proposal, sign-ups for group consultations and information sessions are available now. DELTA recommends attending consultations, either in-person or virtually, especially if this is the first time submitting a proposal.
According to Associate Director of Instructional Design and Development Daniel Davis who leads the program, “This is the ideal time to ask questions about the different grant types, have conversations with DELTA staff about your instructional challenges ways in which DELTA might assist you in realizing your vision, and to understand what we are looking for in successful grant proposals.”
Grant recipients will promote student success by collaborating with DELTA to use technologies and pedagogical design in teaching and learning environments.
This year there are five distinct DELTA Grants to meet the needs of faculty, colleges and departments across the university.
Visit the DELTA Grants page to access the full 2018–2019 DELTA Grants Request for Proposals, see examples of DELTA Grants projects, register to attend a group consultation workshop with DELTA staff, check important dates and submit a proposal (beginning March 26).
Faculty or staff interested in submitting proposals are encouraged to attend one of our Group Consultations and Informational sessions. Sign-ups will be available beginning Thursday, February 1.
Proposal submissions for the 2018–19 DELTA Grants program are accepted from March 26 to April 27. Department heads must approve the proposals in the submission system by May 4.
All entries must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 27.
