Application Deadline Extended for Summer Institute(Archive)

Please note that the 13th Annual DELTA Summer Institute application deadline has been extended!

We will now be accepting applications through Wednesday, April 6.

The DELTA Summer Institute is a great way for faculty to learn about instructional technology tools and techniques that support teaching and learning at NC State. By the completion of the Summer Institute, participants will have the knowledge and skills needed to begin creating a web-enhanced or online course. In addition, participants will be aware of other emerging instructional technologies used to support instruction, and will better understand the issues involved in utilizing technology to support teaching and learning.

The Summer Institute offers a collegial environment for exploring online teaching and learning, as well as  workshops and opportunities for personalized consultations in instructional design, HTML and graphics editors, video/audio digitizing and streaming, and learning management systems.

This year’s Summer Institute is being held May 16-20 in the D.H. Hill Library. The morning cohort runs from 8:45 AM – 1:30 PM and the afternoon cohort runs from noon until 5 PM. There is no cost to attend SI, lunch is provided on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and features faculty speakers experienced with online teaching.
