Ungrading: Empowering Student Success through Feedback and Reflection

Ungrading is a movement to decenter the role of grades in formal learning environments in favor of qualitative instructor feedback and student self-reflection. With support from a DELTA Exploratory Grant, NC State instructor Lisa Falk implemented a variety of Moodle tools in her courses to foster ungrading success.

For 2024-2025, 40 recipients will receive a total of $256,000 in 34 new and continuing DELTA Grants distributed among 38 recipients. In collaboration with our faculty and campus partners, DELTA staff members look forward to creating innovative solutions to instructional challenges and increasing student success.
