ACM SIGGRAPH Recognizes Lou Harrison

Director of Educational Technology Services, Lou Harrison was recently featured in a Member Profile on the Association of Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques (ACM SIGGRAPH) website. ACM SIGGRAPH is an international nonprofit membership organization for individuals interested in computer graphics and interactive techniques.

Harrison has been involved with ACM SIGGRAPH since attending his first annual conference hosted by the organization in 1998. He has served on a range of conference committees and has been both the Courses Chair and the chair of the SIGGRAPH Student Services committee.

Like its parent organization ACM, ACM SIGGRAPH is governed by a board of volunteers and welcomes those passionate about computer graphics and learning techniques. Volunteerism is listed as one of the organization’s key values, making Harrison’s work and dedication that much more appreciated.
