DELTA’s Tony Pearson wins the MCNC Community Choice Award!

Tony Pearson has won the NCREN 2010 Community Choice Award!! Tony just received the award and recognition at the NCREN Community Day conference. Tony tied for the award with Neil Hecht from Onslow County.  It was an exact tie of the number of votes for winning the award. So, all of you that voted, your vote counted! Congratulations to Tony for this well deserved award.

COMMUNITY CHOICE NOMINEE – TONY PEARSON

Tony Pearson is the manager for the video communications services unit of Distance Education and Learning Technology Applications (DELTA) and manages the daily operations of the distance education classrooms and video production services to various clients of the NC State community. Tony has been a member of the NCREN community since 1993. He has served on multiple committees including the NCREN Video Quality Assurance Group, the Program Coordinators group, and chair of Video Managers, and Video Directors groups. He was an active member of the NCREN advisory group and presently serves on the NSOC committee. He is also actively involved on numerous Task Forces. more…
