Upcoming Faculty Seminar Series: Teaching Larger Classes(Archive)
Many classes at NC State are larger this year because of budget cuts and increased enrollment. This seminar series is designed to assist faculty in developing and sharing strategies for effectively teaching larger classes. The Office of Faculty Development, in collaboration with DELTA, announce their fall seminar series: Teaching Larger Classes: Issues and Effective Strategies for Faculty.
The series leads with a 10/6/09 presentation from a Visiting Teaching Scholar from the Atlantic Coast Conference of Universities. Dr. Todd Azkrajsek will share strategies for engaging students and overcoming apathy in larger classes. Tuesday, 10/6/09. 11-1 pm in Park Shops – Room 130. This session offered in person or by online webinar access. See
