What is the TA Toolkit? 

The TA Toolkit is your support network composed of the Graduate School, the NC State University Libraries and DELTA. These resources are here to help you thrive in your journey as a teaching assistant (TA). 

Whether you’re new to NC State or have been teaching for several years, the resources and workshops provided by the TA Toolkit network are available to help you get started or elevate your teaching. Any graduate TA is welcome, regardless of college or department. 

What is the TA Toolkit Open House? 

The TA Toolkit Open House is an event held Aug. 13, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. at the D.H. Hill Jr. Library

Kick off your TA journey equipped with the tools, resources and connections for a successful and fulfilling experience. 

You’ll have opportunities to connect with your peers and with staff members ready to help you succeed. The Graduate School, the Libraries, DELTA, the Academic Success Center, Campus Writing and Speaking Program, and Prevention Services will be present with information and resources to help you get started with each unit’s services. 

Plus, Howling Cow ice cream will be served while supplies last! 

Join us Aug. 13 at the Hill Library on the third floor in the North Forum from 1-3 p.m. to learn more about the workshops and resources offered to you as a TA.
